King Kai tests Goku's ability to create a Genki Dama with a large brick as a target, and Goku destroys it with no problems. However, King Kai warns Goku of the potential danger of creating Genki Dama on Earth. So Goku decides to only use it as a Hissatsu Waza. With his training complete, Goku, through King Kai, sends a telepathic message to Master Roshi to summon Shenron and resurrect him. On Earth Master Roshi, Bulma, and Oolong wastes no time in fulfilling Goku's request. Elsewhere in a large city, the Saiyans Nappa and Vegeta land on Earth and begin their search for the Dragon Balls. The Z warriors, with exception of Yajirobe, gather in a remote area to battle the duo.
